Anson ISD Health Services Department |
Our children are our most valuable resource. For that reason AISD provides a Registered Nurse available to each campus. The goal of the school nurse is to maximize the educational opportunities of each student by identifying, assessing, preventing, managing, minimizing or removing barriers to education.
The school nurse monitors required immunizations, mandated health screenings, as well as health trends on campus. Communication with families is important so parents are asked to keep the Student Health History and Emergency Contact Information forms up to date with current contact numbers, physicians name, allergies and medical needs.
Please use this site to learn more about the AISD Health Services Department. |

Important Notice |
School personnel will not administer any medication to students unless an Administrative Regulation for Administration of Medications at School Packet has been completed and filed in the school nurse's office.
This includes, but is not limited to, the administration of Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Cough Drops, Hydrocortisone Creams and/or antacids.
More about this topic can been seen on this website under Links, then Medication Administration.
If you have any questions about the policy, or other issues related to the administration of medication in the schools, please contact the nurse clinic Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm. |
