For the past seven years I have been the counselor for the best school district in the state, Anson ISD. These seven years followed teaching positions in Anson Elementary and Anson Middle Schools. Each move has been the best for my career, for the most important aspect of my job is the student population. They are a big part of my past, present and future, for I believe my future is in their hands!

I am also an Anson Tiger through and through! I am a third generation graduate of Anson High School, my husband is a graduate and our two sons graduated from AHS! I have three wonderful grandchildren that hopefully will continue this tradition. When other parents and grandparents sing lullabies to their babies, I also sing the Anson School Song.
My goal is to guide the students in our school towards higher education while making the most of each opportunity that comes their way! I love my job, but what I truly love is each individual that makes up Anson High School!
