Mi nombre es Eva Arce and I teach 8th grade Spanish class. I have taught el espanol for 14 years. I enjoy teaching el espanol because I grew up speaking the language. I feel it is important for our estudiantes to be familiar with the language and the cultura that is heard and seen everyday in our wonderful state of Texas.

The goals that I have for my students are helping them realize the importance of learning a second language. By making it a positive experience, students will enjoy learning about the cultura Hispana and its language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. And, let's not forget eating. Students love to sample the many authentic foods in class- tortillas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc.

Also, for the past diez(10) years espanol at the Middle school level may earn students SpanishI credit for High school. Por favor, encourage students to strive for that extra credit. Hasta la vista!
