I am certainly glad to be back for another great year at Anson Elementary. It has truly been the best "job" I've ever had. The children are wonderful, the staff is professional and great to work with, and we have fantastic leadership.

After working at the high school level for 15 years, it is even more rewarding to work at this level. I feel like I can help to influence young minds during the formative time to help them make better decisions as they get older.

Again, it's great to be back at Anson where we are "Positively Wild About Anson Elementary."

The Character word for the fifth six weeks is "caring." Tird, fourth and fifth grade students have been through a 12-week program called, "Don't Laugh at Me," using the song by the same name as a foundation. We have tried to teach them that all of us caring for one another will lead to everyone feeling better about being a part of Anson Elementary. Second graders have begun the program and will continue during their third-grade year.
